PROJECT MERCY
EDUCATE-A-CHILD $22
Time is running out on some potential students. Unless we help them they will be numbered among the illiterate, and unequipped to deal with a real world. Education is preparation for life.
80% of the children in third world countries are not given adequate opportunity to reach a 6th-Grade education. Their early child development depends on your gen-
rosity. Children must be guaranteed
education, safety, and trust.
Clothing For Needy Children $22
.

The cognitive abilities and characteristics of each child must be valued in order for them to experience upward mobility in their environment. Providing them an education will create emotional and financial growth for them for years to come.
In much of South America a family's monthly income only covers food, while the extreme poor or "indigent" are those who cannot even afford a basic diet. According to figures from June this year, a family of two adults and two children with an income of less than 250 dollars a month is considered poor, while an income of 115 dollars a month or less would make them indigent.
People at the lowest spectrum of the economic scale are more concerned with more pressing issues related to their mere survival such as where to find food and money for clothing and shelter. After these basic needs are met, that is the only time that parents can really focus on their children’s schooling. In fact, studies indicate that once their basic economic needs are met, the first priority of most poor families is how to send their children to a good school. That's where Project Mercy steps in.
$22.00 a month is almost ten percent of the gross monthly income of the average family. Your commitment to this donation will allow Project Mercy to provide textbooks, paper, pencils, notebooks, and uniforms for a child for one year.
Education is upward mobility for any child. Invest in a child's literacy for a year with a $264.00 donation and you can change the face of a nation. You and your family have the unique opportunity to bring hope to another student living across the globe.
